ECLIC International Scientific Conference “EU and Member States – legal and economic issues “

We are happy to announce the Call for the 3rd - EU and Comparative law Issues and Challenges Series (ECLIC) International Scientific Conference "EU and Member States – legal and economic issues" to be held at the Faculty of Law in Osijek, Croatia. The overall objective of the ECLIC International Scientific Conference is to provide a platform and stimulate discussion on key interdisciplinary issues affecting law and economics in the EU and its Member States. We strongly encourage participants from candidate states for the EU membership to attend the Conference and contribute to the discussion.
We invite you to consider submitting an abstract for the Conference. The Organization Committee will decide which papers should be included in the Conference. Topics are focused, but not limited to recent challenges in legal and economic issues of EU and Member States.
Some suggested topics:
EU and CoE law - institutional challenges
Recent practice of the CJEU and ECtHR
EU Digital market
Brexit
Is there Future for the EU?
Migration and Asylum
EU criminal law
EU civil and family law
European legal tradition
EU and economical challenges
Abstracts of 300 - 500 words (maximum) should indicate the main arguments and structure of the paper and the methods used. If accepted, you will receive the Guidelines for Authors and will be expected to deliver a full paper of no more than 6000-10000 words by 15th March 2019.
Accepted papers will be published in the double peer-reviewed “EU and comparative law issues and challenges series – ECLIC“, which is indexed in HeinOline.
ECLIC contains conference proceedings that are double peer reviewed and specialized in EU and comparative law and policy. More at https://hrcak.srce.hr/ojs/index.php/eclic/index
ECLIC conference proceedings will be distributed to the conference participants at the conference venue.

Notification on Acceptance of Abstract: 15 January 2019
Submission Deadline for Papers: 15th March 2019
Registration and Conference Fee payment: 15th March 2019
Conference Fees:
- Conference fee ( 1 author) : 100 EUR
- Accompanying co-author: 50 EUR
- Listener only: 25 EUR
Conference fee includes access to all sessions, Book of Abstracts, Book of Proceedings on CD. Conference dinner, conference lunch plus all coffee breaks according to the conference program will be covered by the Faculty of Law Osijek. Travel costs and accommodation are borne by participants.
